When my husband said we would watch The Fourth Phase, I skeptically grunted: "Documentary? About sports? Snowboarding? 90 minutes? Well, well ...", and then stuck to the screen for an hour and a half and end of captions with off-screen video could not come off.

A delightful sight, the beauty of the water element in all its manifestations was amazingly conveyed: powerful ocean waves, meltwater streams, crystallization of snowflakes, a suspension of raindrops, clouds swirling on the tops of the mountains, a snow avalanche on an untouched slope ...

This must be seen, I can't convey it in words.

All this magnificence is not only a background for the history of Travis and his friends who gathered to overcome the barriers of eternal snows and expand their own boundaries of possibilities, water is a full-fledged hero of the film, it is fascinating.

Athletes themselves: Travis Rice, Mark Landvik, Eric Jackson and others in different locations and at different times, cause respect and admiration. These are not crazy extreme daredevils, but sober-minded professionals who are in love with the elements and conquering it at the same time prudently and with passion.
